Lee D. Denton is a litigator with a background in commercial, insurance, personal injury, and medical-malpractice litigation. Before joining Fitzgerald Litigation, Lee was an associate at Wall Babcock LLP in Winston-Salem. Lee graduated from Wake Forest School of Law in 2014, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Wake Forest Law Review. He then he clerked for two years with the Honorable James L. Gale, Chief Judge of the North Carolina Business Court.
Before law school, Lee spent several years as a senior international reporting analyst at Vanguard in Pennsylvania. He graduated cum laude from Appalachian State University in 2006 with a degree in Finance and Banking.
Lee currently serves on the board of the Forsyth County Young Lawyers Division and is the Membership Committee Chair of the Antitrust and Complex Business Disputes section of the North Carolina Bar Association. He is also a member of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys and the Defense Research Institute.
Lee and his wife, Katie, are Winston-Salem natives and graduates of Reynolds High School. Katie is an interior designer. Lee and Katie are members of Hope Presbyterian Church, where Lee plays drum set on the worship team. When he is not busy chasing around his young son, Lee enjoys international soccer and classic Ford Broncos.
